General FAQs

We usually update our website with the latest products and styles in fashion jewellery. You can find these products in various categories as well as in our Category section. For our latest collection of jewellery products, check out our Latest Collections in the Collections Drop-down Menu.

We have a total of 9 retail outlets, with seven in Hyderabad (Kukatpally, Chandanagar, Ameerpet, Suchitra, and Secunderabad) and one in Kakinada (SRMT Mall) & another in Visakhapatnam (Jagadamba center), and more coming soon!

To find retail stores near you, you can check out the Locations available on the front page of our website. Alternatively, you can check out the Locate Us Map section at the bottom of the page.

Every product that you see on our website or in our retail outlets is barcoded and has a unique number to identify it. You can use this 5-digit code to search the individual product. If you want to see a collection of similar products, you can simply search for the type of jewellery i.e necklace sets, bangles, bracelets, etc.

Certain kinds of jewellery have very ethnic nomenclature and several variations for the same name. This may lead to issues when searching for products. In that case, try to use the most common spelling for jewellery.

The Recently Viewed scroll-tab displays a list of your most recently viewed products on our website. This page facilitates you an easy way to navigate back to products you are interested in. If you are logged in to your account, then your Recently Viewed Product list is visible near the bottom of every page.

Account Information

Creating an account on our website is a fairly simple procedure. You can choose to create a new account by clicking on Login → Create an Account. On this page, enter all the required information (i.e email ID and password) and click Submit.

On successful creation of your account, you'll receive a confirmation email from us. Click the Confirmation link in the mail to confirm the account. After creation of your account, you will be able to access this account by entering your Email address and password information at Registered Users.

If you're unable to confirm your account via email, please check your Spam folder. If the problem still persists, you can drop a mail to Our Online Team or ping us on live-chat!

To change your Account Password, you need to Sign In your Account. Once you signed-in, you will get option to update your account on the My Account page.

Click Change Password at the bottom of the page. Now you just have to enter your Existing Password and type in your desired New Password.

If you forget your Old Password or cannot log in, simply click on Forgot Password. After entering your email id and entering the captcha, you'll receive a Confirm Password Change email from us.

Click on the link in the email, and you'll be redirected to the Change Password Page. Enter the new password and click on Change Password to confirm the change.

If you can't find the Confirm Password Change email from us, please check your Spam folder. If you still can't find it, then contact us at sales@violetandpurple.com or ping us on live-chat!

Billing & Payments

We accept all major Indian and International Credit and Debit Cards. Currently we are using the CashFree Payment Gateway to handle all our prepaid purchases. This allows for multiple secured payment options like:

  • Debit/Credit Cards
  • Net-Banking
  • UPI payments like Google Pay and PhonePe
  • Payments through Paypal

    We also provide option for payment through wallets like Paytm and Airtel Wallet.

  • Yes! We now have Cash On Delivery as a payment method for all Indian/Domestic orders! You can now chose to either pay online via Debit Cards/Credit Cards/Wallets or pay via COD.

    For International Orders, we only have Prepaid options. You can now pay through Paypal or use International Credit/Debit Cards. However, we do not provide for Cash on Delivery on orders outside India.

    Please note that for all COD orders, you will be charged a separate COD handling charge irrespective of the order amount

    We make use of a standard payment gateway which is PCI-DSS compliant, and makes use of 128-bit SSL encryption. This ensures that your data is in safe hands. You can also check the “https” prefix for all our pages on the site- safe and secure.

    Yes! If you are a retailer, or wish to purchase from us in bulk, we now offer wholesale/bulk pricing on all our products.

    Shipping & Delivery

    Yes! We provide free shipping and delivery throughout India for purchases of Rs.500/- or more. All orders of value less than Rs.500/- will incur a minimal shipping fee of Rs.50/-. We have teamed up with several delivery partners to ensure that we can reach most parts of the country.

    We provide Free Delivery on all orders worth more than Rs.500/- irrespective of the type of payment method. you will be charged a nominal COD Handling Fee of 50/- for COD orders

    Yes! We now ship across 220+ countries across the globe and serve our customers in India and abroad. We work with DHL as our International Shipping Partner to deliver our orders. You can rest assured that your orders are in safe hands.

    Orders outside India will incur standard shipping charges. These charges are calculated based on the specific country of delivery, weight and volume of package. Shipping Charges will be shown in the Checkout page before you proceed to payment.

    Orders are usually processed within 1 day of making a purchase and are then sent to our courier service for delivery. On average, this process takes around 2-3 business days. Also please note that orders placed on the festivals, weekends or on public holidays may be delayed due to logistic issues.

    For International Orders:

    Orders will be processed within 1-2 business days of placing the order. We then dispatch the order package for International Shipping. It may take 5-7 business days for the delivery to take place.

    The Overall Estimated Time for Delivery is 5-10 business days

    If you live in and around Hyderabad but wish to purchase online, you'll receive your order within 1-2 days. We try our best to ensure that your order is delivered promptly and without any hassles.

    All our orders are delivered through reputed courier partners who will provide specific Tracking IDs. Once the order is dispatched to the courier service, you will be notified by SMS. You can also track your order with the tracking ID provided to you. We also provide you the tracking details via email after we dispatch your order.

    You can also track your order using the Track Your Order page. You can check the status of your order using the AWB given to you, or by entering your Order ID.

    First, take a deep breath! We are here to help you out. In most cases, you will get SMS notifications about your order as soon as it is dispatched. In some rare cases, your order may be stuck in transit or in a warehouse.

  • Yes! We now have local pickup services for nearby customers. If you live in or around Kukatpally you can come to any of our three branches and pickup your order.

    You will need to show proof of purchase i.e. Order Confirmation Email while picking up.

    We don’t allow any room for error. You can rest assured that your order is in safe hands. We do our best to ensure complete safety of the jewellery, and provide appropriate packaging. We also document every step of the process to ensure transparency and security.

    You will also be provided with instructions on handling and safe-keeping, along with a box for long-storage, as well as an eco-friendly bag for carrying your jewellery around!

    In the worst-case scenario where you have received a damaged piece, you can drop a mail to Our Online Team and we'll try to help you out.

    Please note that we at Violet & Purple are not liable for in-transit damages caused by courier services.

    We understand that you might be very busy and in immediate need of jewellery for important occasions. Your time is quite precious, and we'll do our best to ensure that you receive it within 2-3 days. It may not always be so, due to unforeseen delays in delivery. However, that doesn't mean we'll give up! We'll be working with our courier partner to ensure your order reaches you on time.     We value our customers and our jewellery. And that means giving you the best in design, quality and price. Each and every ornament that is shipped is packaged with great care and the entire process is documented for safety and security. And that is why you'll come to love our jewellery, time and again.

    We follow certain policies to ensure transparency, efficiency and quality customer care:

    1. We DO NOT allow returns on sold products - online or in retail outlets. Jewellery once sold cannot be returned.
    2. We DO NOT accept returned goods, as we believe that customers should get the best quality fashion jewellery.
    3. Refunds are NOT given for any purchases made - be they online or in retail store*.
    4. We DO NOT encourage exchanges of our products, with a few exceptions**.
    5. We DO NOT engage in reselling used jewellery and discourage the same, because we cannot ensure the best quality jewellery for our customers.

    * - Final decision lies with management.

    ** - Size exchange allowed for bangles and bracelets within a stipulated period of time.

    The above policies may seem a bit harsh and heavy-handed, but please consider the up-side to it; better quality, better price and simplified processes to help you find the perfect ornament.

    For International Orders:

  • We do not support Exchanges or Returns for orders outside India.
  • If you cancel the order before we process it and dispatch for shipping, a refund can be processed.
  • Orders generally take 1-2 days to process before dispatch.
  • Orders already in shipping cannot be returned, canceled or refunded.

We put in a lot of effort to ensure that you are getting the right product at the right price on-time, every time. Of course, not everyone is perfect, so a few problems might pop up here and there. But we're here to help you out!

Most of the images and videos that you find have links to the product pages, where you can see all the details and then make a purchase. We have also opened up a channel on Youtube, where you can check out videos of our jewellery.
