The “www.violetandpurple.com” website is owned and operated by Violet & Purple Fashion Jewellery Private Limited. In this Cancellation Policy, Violet & Purple Fashion Jewellery Private Limited is referred to as "we," "us," or "our" and the end users are referred to as "you", "your" or "user".
Part 1: Cancellation
We at Violet & Purple commit ourselves to serving our customers with the best in Artificial Designer Fashion Jewellery. Every single product that you choose is thoroughly inspected, checked for defects and packaged with utmost care. We do this to ensure that you fall in love with our jewellery time and again.
Sadly, there are times when we may not have the product(s) that you choose in stock, or may face some issues with our inventory and quality check. In such cases, we may have to cancel your order. You will be intimated about it in advance so that you don't have to worry unnecessarily about your order. If you have purchased via Online payment (not Cash on Delivery), then you will be refunded once our team confirms your request.

Part 2: Returns and Refunds
Orders once placed will take 4-5 business days for shipping and delivery to take place. We ensure you that our products are of very high quality and finish. We take great care in seeing that orders once processed are made to undergo our own quality assessment, and then sent for packaging. In view of such practices, you can rest easy knowing that your order is in the best hands.
We at Violet & Purple, continuously strive to give fresh products to our customers. In this regard, as a policy we do not accept returns & refunds.
We carry out thorough quality check before processing the ordered item. We take utmost care while packing the product. At the same time we ensure that the packing is good such that the items won’t get damaged during transit. Please note that Violet & Purple is not liable for damages that are caused to the items during transit or transportation.
We follow certain policies to ensure transparency, efficiency and quality customer care:
- We DO NOT allow returns on sold products - online or in retail outlets. Jewellery once sold cannot be returned.
- We DO NOT accept returned goods, as we believe that customers should get the best quality fashion jewellery.
- Refunds are NOT given for any purchases made - be they online or in retail store*
- We DO NOT encourage exchanges of our products, with a few exceptions**
- We DO NOT engage in reselling used jewellery and discourage the same, because we cannot ensure the best quality jewellery for our customers.
* - Final decision lies with management.
** - Size exchange allowed for bangles and bracelets within a stipulated period of time.
For International Orders:
- We DO NOT support Exchanges or Returns for orders outside India.
- If you cancel the order before we process it and dispatch for shipping, a refund can be processed. Orders generally take 1-2 days to process before dispatch.
- Orders already in shipping cannot be returned, canceled or refunded.

Part 3: Exchanges
Ornaments once purchased from us are not eligible for exchange, with the exception of bangles/bracelets for size variants only. Orders placed within India cannot be exchanged for any reason except for issues with size. Likewise, International orders are not eligible for any exchanges.

Part 4: Care and Concern
Ornaments are not to be splashed with water, sprayed with chemicals or exposed to extreme weather conditions. You are also advised against storing the products in velvet boxes, as they cause chemical degradation and discoloration.
If you are unable to reach out to our Online Customer Service Team, you can drop by any of our retail outlets and inform the customer service team. We'll do our best to respond in time.
